Terms of Service
The agreement between you and CurmyBot. Written to be read, not to be skipped.
1. What CurmyBot is
CurmyBot is software. It runs a set of published trading rules against a brokerage account that you own, using API keys that you create and can revoke at any time.
CurmyBot is not a broker, a dealer, an exchange, a fund, a portfolio manager or an investment adviser. We do not hold your money, we do not custody your assets, and we never take possession of your securities. Your broker does all of that, under its own agreement with you.
Nothing on this site or in the product is investment advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell anything.
2. What you are responsible for
- Your brokerage account, and your relationship with your broker.
- The API keys you give us: creating them with the permissions you intend, and revoking them at your broker if you want us to stop.
- Your settings. Risk per trade, the circuit breaker, position caps and the watchlist are yours to choose within the published bounds.
- Deciding to trade real money. Paper is the default; going live takes a deliberate, separate confirmation from you.
- Your own tax and regulatory position, in your own jurisdiction.
3. What we are responsible for
- Running the rules as published, and showing you every decision in the activity feed.
- Encrypting your broker credentials so that they cannot be read from our console, our logs, or a data export.
- Telling you when something is wrong — a rejected key, a failed exit, a position we cannot reconcile with your broker — by email and on the account page.
- Letting you stop, disconnect, export or delete at any time, without asking us.
4. What we do not promise
We do not promise that the software will be available without interruption, that orders will reach your broker, that an order will fill at any particular price, or that a stop level shown on your screen can always be acted on. Markets gap, brokers reject orders, APIs go down, and networks fail.
We make no representation about the results of using this software. Past behaviour of any strategy does not tell you what it will do next.
If we cannot act on a position, we tell you and we do not act. We do not guess on your behalf.
5. Acceptable use
You must be legally permitted to trade in your jurisdiction and to use automated trading with your broker. You must not use CurmyBot to manipulate a market, to trade on information you are not entitled to use, on behalf of someone else without authority, or in breach of your broker's own terms.
One person, one account. Do not share your login. Two-factor authentication is required and is not optional.
6. Fees and billing
Paper trading is free. Live trading requires a paid plan, billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Prices are shown on the plans page before you subscribe.
Cancelling stops the next charge. It does not liquidate anything — see the refund and cancellation policy.
7. Suspension and termination
You can close your account at any time from account settings. We may suspend an account for non-payment, for a breach of these terms, or where we are required to.
In every case the same rule applies: we do not sell your positions. Trading stops, the account stays yours, and anything you hold remains in your broker's hands for you to manage. Software that liquidates a portfolio because a subscription lapsed would be doing something nobody asked it to do.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, CurmyBot is provided as it is. We are not liable for trading losses, for lost profit or opportunity, or for indirect or consequential loss. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Changes
If we change these terms in a way that materially affects you, we will email you before the change takes effect. Continuing to use CurmyBot after that date means you accept the change; if you do not, close the account and the change never applies to you.
10. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction.
