Refunds and cancellation
How to stop paying, what happens to your positions, and when we give money back.
Cancelling
Cancel at any time from your billing settings. There is no notice period, no cancellation fee, and nothing to email us about.
Cancelling stops the next charge. You keep the plan until the end of the period you have already paid for.
What happens to your positions
Nothing is sold. Not when you cancel, not when a payment fails, not when a subscription lapses, and not when you delete your CurmyBot account.
When live trading ends, CurmyBot stops opening and closing positions on that account. Whatever you hold stays exactly where it is, in your brokerage account, in your name, for you to manage in your broker's own app.
Be clear about what that means: positions left open after CurmyBot stops are no longer being managed. The stops shown on your account page will not fire, because nothing is running them. If you want out of a position, close it yourself at your broker.
Refunds
We refund the current period, in full, in these cases:
- You were charged after cancelling. Always refunded.
- A defect in CurmyBot stopped it doing the job for a material part of the period — for example our server was down during market hours, or a bug of ours prevented trading on your account.
- You subscribed within the last 14 days and have not enabled live trading.
We do not refund trading losses. A loss is not a defect: the software doing exactly what its published rules say, with the settings you chose, is the product working. That distinction is the whole reason every decision is written into your activity feed where you can read it.
We also do not refund a period simply because it went unused.
If a payment fails
We email you and the account enters a grace period during which nothing changes. If it is not resolved, live trading stops — and, again, nothing is sold. Your paper accounts keep running; they are free and always will be.
How to ask
Email support with the account email and what happened. We answer refund requests from a person, not a form. If we decline one, we will tell you why rather than leaving you to guess.
